A widely acclaimed iPhone model, known globally, now falls under the "vintage" category.
apple's made a move, fam. They've added the iPhone XS to their list of outdated devices and, dang, it's been five years since it stopped hitting shelves.

The iPhone XS first graced us with its presence back in September 2018, and it was swapped out for a newer model a year later. However, it hung around in stores, and we just recently hit the five-year mark for the vintage label. The iPhone XS Max got that same treatment way back in November 2024.
In two more years, the iPhone XS will be relegated to the dusty bin of obsolete devices, losing any service eligibility. But it ain't all bad, as the iPhone XS still has got some charm going for it. Its A12 Bionic chip stays powerful, the compact OLED display continues to please the eyes, and its dual 12+12 MP camera keeps snapping away. Plus, it's still receiving iOS updates—even though it was first introduced seven years ago!
