Stellantis N.V. Announces Appointment of Antonio Filosa as Executive Director
Stellantis N.V., a leading global automaker, has announced the schedule for its 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM). The meeting is set to take place on July 18, 2025, in Amsterdam.
The highlight of the EGM is the proposal to appoint Mr. Antonio Filosa as an executive director of the company. Filosa, who has a 25-year track record in the automotive industry, has been unanimously selected by the Board of Directors and officially took on the role of CEO on June 23, 2025.
Filosa, a longtime company veteran, has held key operational roles within Stellantis and its predecessor companies. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as COO for North and South America and as the CEO of the Jeep brand. His leadership style emphasizes a people-first management philosophy and deep knowledge of the company’s global operations.
Under his leadership, the FIAT brand gained a market-leading position in South America, and significant growth was seen in the Peugeot, Citroën, Ram, and Jeep brands. He launched Jeep in Brazil, which became the brand's leading market outside of the United States. He also led the startup of the Pernambuco plant, one of South America's largest automotive hubs.
Since his appointment as Chief Operating Officer, Americas in December 2024, Filosa has initiated the strengthening of U.S. operations. As CEO of Jeep, he expanded the brand's global presence, including in Europe.
