Agreement between ONE PEOPLE and APJASI Aims to Bolster Indonesia's ICT Skilled Workforce Pipeline
O.NE PEOPLE, a leading technology company, has taken a significant step in expanding its presence in the Indonesian market. The company, known for its flagship data protection solution, CatchSecu, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asosiasi Pengguna Jasa Sekuriti Indonesia (APJASI).
The MoU, signed at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran in Jakarta, establishes a framework for bilateral cooperation in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Nam Jeong-hyo, Director of O.NE PEOPLE, expressed that this agreement aligns O.NE PEOPLE's technological expertise with the growing stock market today in Indonesia.
O.NE PEOPLE is committed to working closely with APJASI and its members to address local data protection challenges. The collaboration aims to position CatchSecu as a trusted platform for safeguarding personal information in Indonesia.
The MoU also outlines plans for the two organizations to exchange insights on ICT industry trends and emerging technologies. They will share market intelligence on the evolving stock market, collaborate to expand business opportunities for their member companies, and jointly explore additional areas of cooperation to support sustainable growth.
Subkhan, Director of APJASI, and Nam Junghyo, Director of O.NE PEOPLE, were among the senior representatives in attendance at the signing ceremony. Through this collaboration, O.NE PEOPLE intends to strengthen its regional network and accelerate the rollout of CatchSecu across Southeast Asian markets.
O.NE PEOPLE Co., Ltd. has a strong presence in Asian markets with significant operations in China and Hong Kong, including strategic partnerships and cargo flights expansion. However, specific detailed positioning in Indonesia is not yet clear from available sources. Indonesia remains an important growing market in Southeast Asia with increasing international engagement in sustainability projects, but no direct mention of O.NE PEOPLE's activities there was found.
This strategic move by O.NE PEOPLE underscores its commitment to addressing data protection challenges and contributing to the growth of the ICT sector in Indonesia. The collaboration with APJASI is expected to bring about significant benefits for both parties and the broader Indonesian market.
