Amazon Music & Audible Enhance In-Car Experiences via Sony Honda Mobility Partnership
Amazon Music and Audible are set to enhance in-car experiences, thanks to a partnership with Sony Honda Mobility Inc. (SHM). The Mobility Tech Company, a joint venture between Sony and Honda, plans to integrate these services into its vehicles, starting with the 'our website 1' model in California, USA, in 2025.
Amazon Music, with its vast library of over 100 million songs, personalized playlists, and ad-free podcasts, will be available to Prime members through SHM's in-car entertainment feature. For music enthusiasts craving high-quality audio, Amazon Music Unlimited offers full, on-demand access to the same extensive library in HD and Spatial audio.
Audible, with a catalog of over 1 million audio titles, including Audible Originals, audiobooks, and podcasts, will also be accessible in SHM vehicles. This partnership aligns with SHM's goal to provide immersive audio entertainment experiences, as stated by the company.
The first SHM model, 'our website 1,' scheduled for launch in California in 2025, will introduce these premium audio services to its users. This collaboration between SHM, Amazon Music, and Audible promises to elevate in-car audio experiences, offering a wide range of music, podcasts, and audiobooks to enjoy on the go.
