Armasight Unveils Jockey 640: Versatile Clip-On Thermal Optic for Night Operations

Armasight has unveiled the Jockey 640, a versatile and robust clip-on thermal optic designed to transform day rifles into night-ready ones. Weighing less than a pound, it boasts an American Defense QD mount and can detect human-sized targets up to 932 meters away.

The Jockey 640 packs a 640 x 480 12um Thermal Core detector and a XGA OLED display, providing clear imagery even in complete darkness. It's rated for up to .308 Winchester recoil and has a battery life of 4 hours at 20°C, ensuring it's ready for extended use.

The optic can be used as a clip-on, standalone on a rifle, or as a handheld unit. It's compatible with various optics and comes with eyepiece attachments for larger objective lenses. The 3-button design and easy-to-use menu make it simple to operate, while the 4x digital zoom and high-resolution screen ensure precise targeting.

Designed and built in Tempe, Arizona, the Jockey 640 is built for durability and reliability. It operates in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to +122°F).
