Astronergy Launches Biodiversity-Friendly Solar Project in Qilian Mountain Park
Astronergy, a leading solar energy company, has launched a groundbreaking project in Qilian Mountain National Park. The company, along with partners like One Planet Foundation and NIO, is promoting biodiversity and green power generation through a unique photovoltaic self-consumption system.
The system, which includes 75 Astronergy n-type TOPCon PV modules, generates approximately 670,000 kWh of clean power annually. This not only satisfies 100% of electric vehicle usage within the park but also meets 50% of other energy needs. The project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by around 53 tons annually.
The V2G self-consumption station, now operational, supports ecological patrols and clean energy utilization within the park. This innovative system is Astronergy's first attempt at protecting biodiversity through green PV products, marking a significant step in the company's commitment to promoting a pollution-free, zero-emission, and high-efficiency new energy society.
The project at Qilian Mountain National Park is part of the third phase of the Clean Parks and WWF ecological co-conservation program. Astronergy, along with its partners, aims to create a sustainable and net-zero carbon world through continuous innovation and cooperation.
