At this year's IBC (International Broadcasting Convention) 2024, held at RAI Amsterdam, Europaplein 22, 1078 GZ Amsterdam, Netherlands, Boris FX will be showcasing its latest innovations at Dell's booth (Hall 7.A45) from Friday, September 13, to Monday, September 16.

The spotlight will be on AI-driven improvements, enhanced visual effects, and advanced 3D tracking and augmented reality integration.

Boris FX Suite will be the main attraction, featuring major updates and new features across its key products.

Continuum 2025 will introduce AI-supported motion blur, license plate blurring tools, new transitions, updated effects, and enhanced Particle Illusion improvements.

SynthEyes 2025.5 will showcase its 3D tracking software with AI capabilities, supporting hybrid workflows involving AR, virtual production, and other advanced visual effects. The software now integrates a Flame Exporter, an Advanced Distortion plugin for After Effects, a rectangle sizing tool, and updated camera libraries.

Sapphire 2025 will unveil new effects such as VHS Damage, Dissolve Light Leaks, and additional lens flares, expanding creative options. The high-end effects collection also includes a digital glitch/data mosh effect, cinematic dust, revamped Time effects, and 10 new lens flares.

Other tools likely to be demonstrated include Silhouette, known for advanced rotoscoping and paint tools, though explicit new features for IBC 2024 were not detailed. CrumplePop will probably present audio noise reduction and enhancement plugins for video editing, with specific new features at IBC 2024 yet to be highlighted.

Mocha Pro, Boris FX’s planar tracking and VFX toolset, usually updated alongside Continuum, will likely showcase workflow enhancements, although no precise updates were listed in the sources. Optics, a standalone photo finishing app incorporating Sapphire filters and effects, will present 8 fresh creative effects, the ability to mask and isolate Particle Illusion's effects, and over 100 presets based on beauty retouching, digital damage, glows, lens flares, and more.

Visitors can look forward to limited one-on-one demo slots, with experts such as Ben Brownlee, John-Paul Smith, Moritz Fortmann, and Boris Yamnitsky on hand to demonstrate the new tools. Dell is collaborating with the team at IBC 2024 to provide an immersive and informative experience.

IBC 2024 hours are from 10:30 to 18:00 on Friday, from 9:30 to 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and from 9:30 to 16:00 on Monday. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the future of visual effects and post-production technology!
