Audi's New Compact Electric SUV Coming in 2027: 280 Miles Range, 0-62 in Under 7 Secs
Audi's smallest electric SUV is set to hit the roads in 2027. The new model, spotted testing recently, will sit below the Q4 e-tron in Audi's lineup and is expected to offer an impressive range and performance.
The upcoming EV, tentatively named the Audi Q6, is designed to deliver around 280 miles (450 km) on a single charge. It packs a punch with 223 hp (226 PS / 166 kW), accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in under 7 seconds. The prototype showcases a distinctive split-headlight design and unique door handles, giving it a sporty and modern look.
Under the hood, the EV rides on the MEB+ platform, shared with the VW ID. Polo and ID. Cross. It features a single motor at the front, driving the front wheels. The rear boasts a high-level spoiler and a sleek transverse LED light bar, adding to its aerodynamic design.
The Audi Q6, or potentially named Q2 or A2, is set to debut in 2027, offering a compact yet powerful electric SUV option. With its impressive range, performance, and unique design, it promises to be an exciting addition to Audi's electric lineup.
