AvePoint Appoints Max McNamara as VP & MD ANZ to Tackle Rising Data Breaches
AvePoint has appointed Max McNamara as Vice President and Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand. In his new role, McNamara will focus on the development and execution of AvePoint's ANZ strategy, with a strong emphasis on data management and protection in Microsoft 365.
McNamara brings a wealth of experience to AvePoint, having previously served as Director of Solutions Engineering since August 2022. Before joining AvePoint, he spent a decade at Antares Solutions and held various leadership roles in the technology sector, including positions at Microsoft.
AvePoint offers a full suite of SaaS solutions to migrate, manage, and protect data in Microsoft 365. McNamara's expertise will be crucial in navigating the increasing data breach landscape in Microsoft 365. In the second half of 2022 alone, Australia reported a 26% increase in notifiable data breaches, reaching 497 incidents.
Max McNamara's appointment at AvePoint comes at a critical time, given the rising threats and regulations surrounding data management in Microsoft 365.
