Crypto Market Soars: BTC Touches $100K, ETH Breaks $2K

Bitcoin Price Approaches $100K for the First Time Since February; Ethereum Touches Monthly Peak (Market Watch)

It feels like a dream a month ago, bitcoin diving hard to under $75,000 amid international strife. But as things improve, BTC has roared back, adding $20,000 in two weeks to reach a multi-month high of almost $100,000.

The altcoins are joining the party, with Ethereum surging past $2,000 for the first time in over a month. Despite a brief resistance at $98,000 last week, Bitcoin's price has been on the rise, possibly spurred by the POTUS's promising trade war statement.

Ethereum, however, has finally shattered the $1,850 resistance and now hovers above $2,000. Despite a rough half year against BTC and the dollar, Ethereum might outperform Bitcoin this year, according to our buddy ChatGPT.

Other coins like XRP, SOL, ADA, TRX, AVAX, and XLM have seen gains of 2-4%. DOGE, LINK, and SUI have skyrocketed by up to 7.5%. BCH and PEPE are the top gainers, with double-digit increases of 11% and 12.5%, respectively.

The total crypto market cap has surged by nearly $100 billion in a day, reaching $3.2 trillion.
