Cardano's Midnight Sidechain Partners with Google Cloud for Privacy Boost
Cardano's Midnight sidechain has entered a significant partnership with Google Cloud. The collaboration aims to boost privacy infrastructure and zero-knowledge technology for Midnight, a privacy-focused sidechain developed by Input Output Global (IOG) for decentralized apps (DApps).
The partnership, announced on September 21, 2023, by Charles Hoskinson, Co-Founder of Cardano, brings together Google Cloud and the Midnight Foundation. It will provide qualifying teams with up to $200,000 in Google Cloud Platform credits to foster innovation and growth in the Web3 space.
Google Cloud will extend its support by running a validator for the Midnight network and offering security services through its Mandiant division. This will expand community tools and resources for Cardano and create opportunities for projects building on Midnight through the Google for Startups Web3 Program.
The collaboration between Google Cloud and the Midnight Foundation is set to enhance privacy and security for Cardano's Midnight sidechain. With Google Cloud's technical support and resources, the project is poised for growth and innovation in the Web3 space.
