Collaborative investment by The Together Fund and Z47 propels SaaS startup Scalekit in a substantial $5.5 million funding round. Participation in the funding round was also provided by angel investors Adam Frankl, Oliver Jay, and Jagadeesh Kunda.
In a significant development for the SaaS and AI-first teams, Scalekit, a promising SaaS startup, has secured $5.5 million in a seed funding round. The funding round was led by Together Fund and Z47, with participation from angel investors Adam Frankl, Oliver Jay, and Jagadeesh Kunda.
Founded by Satya Devarakonda, Scalekit's team includes former engineers from Freshworks. The startup is focused on developing modular infrastructure solutions, aiming to simplify secure and scalable authentication for SaaS teams, drawing from its experience with Freshworks.
Scalekit's product suite includes MCP Auth, Agent Actions, and modern authentication tools with enterprise-ready features like single sign-on and SCIM. The solutions are already being adopted by several startups, including Hubbl, Sifthub, Fello, Unstract, Tiphaus, and Aerchain, helping them transition agentic workflows from prototypes to production.
Traditional identity systems are proving inadequate with emerging protocols like the Model Context Protocol, which exposes application functions to agents. Recognising this gap, Scalekit's approach to providing infrastructure solutions is an à-la-carte one, allowing developers to adopt only the necessary components.
Scalekit positions itself as a foundational player in authentication for AI-native applications. The founding team of Scalekit was responsible for building Freshworks' internal authentication platform, now supporting over 50,000 businesses and 2 million users.
