Cryoport Opens New 55,000 sq ft Global Supply Chain Center in Louvre, France
Cryoport has opened a new 55,000-square-foot Global Supply Chain Center in Louvre, France, near Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. This facility, inaugurated on November 20, 2025, enhances Cryoport's temperature-controlled supply chain solutions in Europe, supporting biopharma clients in various sectors.
The Louvre facility is part of a phased approach to supporting clinical and commercial advanced therapy programmes. It offers integrated, end-to-end logistics services, including cryogenic capabilities for temperature-sensitive materials. This is the third site in Cryoport's Global Supply Chain Centre (GSCC) network, further strengthening its global presence.
Jerrell Shelton, CEO of Cryoport, expressed that the new facility bolsters service to clients in European and global markets. The site is already supporting logistics for biopharma clients in sectors like cell and gene therapies, biologics, animal health, and reproductive medicine. In the coming months, Cryoport plans to expand services at the Louvre facility to include biostorage, BioServices, QP drug management, Importer of Record (IOR) capabilities, and other offerings.
The Louvre facility, with its strategic location near Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, enables 24-hour worldwide dispatch and immediate logistics support. Its expansion will further solidify Cryoport's commitment to serving the evolving needs of the biopharma industry in Europe and beyond.
