  3. Several Slush drinks from the Manchester Drinks Company have been found to contain too much glycerin. Consumption could potentially pose health risks, especially with excessive consumption.
  4. Pepsico Netherlands is recalling Lay's chips due to the presence of non-food-grade mineral oil containing MOSH and MOAH.
  5. Undeclared milk protein has been found in the "Dubai Style" pistachio cream by Destan, posing a health risk for those with a milk protein allergy.
  6. The Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) warns against salmonella in trout and chicken merguez. Consumption of the product with the best before date of 19.08.2025, sold at Aligro, Manor, and Tamoil, is not recommended.
  7. Laiteries Réunies Genève has removed the French cheese "Brie Mariotte" from sale due to listeria detection. Affected batches include those with the best before dates of 30.7.2025, 6.8.2025, and 13.8.2025.

Scams and Warnings

  1. Beware of being contacted by phone or email with promises of a refund of cryptocurrencies, as scammers are currently using this tactic.

These products are often marketed as "natural" but contain pharmacological substances without declaration and dosage information. Consumption poses a significant health risk.
  3. The Federal Cybersecurity Authority (FCA) reports a significant increase in phishing messages claiming to be package notifications. These messages are end-to-end encrypted and often appear as names instead of phone numbers, giving the impression of being added to an official group like "Post Delivery Info". Clicking the link leads to a professionally designed website where credit card and login details are requested for a small fee to arrange redelivery.
