HelloFresh SE, a leading meal kit and food delivery company based in Berlin, has partnered with Facilio to streamline and centralize its refrigeration compliance operations across its U.S. industrial facilities. The partnership is a key step in HelloFresh's ongoing commitment to adhere to proposed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory changes.

HelloFresh operates under various brands such as Factor, Green Chef, and EveryPlate, delivering fresh, pre-portioned ingredients and recipes to millions of customers globally. The company's operations span across North America and Europe, although it does not have offices outside these regions.

Facilio's Connected Refrigeration module offers HelloFresh a cloud-based solution with centralized refrigeration tracking across all sites. The system supports HelloFresh's sustainability initiatives by enabling accurate tracking of Scope 1 CO2 emissions against its reduction targets.

The partnership with Facilio is expected to digitize refrigeration compliance across HelloFresh's U.S. facilities. The module features automated compliance workflows for leak inspections, repair timelines, and reporting deadlines, ensuring seamless coordination across all facilities.

Prabhu Ramachandran, CEO of Facilio, states that their platform offers complete visibility and auditable insights across all sites. Instant action triggers are included in the module, eliminating lag between detection and resolution, and faster event closure is facilitated through streamlined task execution and logging.

Jeffrey Yorzyk, senior director of sustainability at HelloFresh North America, mentions that Facilio helped move their refrigeration compliance workflows from manual spreadsheets to a modern, centralized platform. Accurate, real-time data is now available in one place for HelloFresh teams, enabling them to stay ahead of inspections, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth operations.

Persona-based dashboards are available, tailoring insights to compliance, operations, or sustainability teams. The partnership is a significant step for HelloFresh North America, ranked No. 54 on The PG 100, Progressive Grocer's 2025 list of the top retailers of food and consumables in North America.

Other grocery companies that have partnered with Facilio for refrigeration compliance operations and sustainability initiatives include King Kullen, Lunds & Byerlys, and Tuten Labs.
