Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Expansion Introduces Additional Goku Figures, Potentially Bringing the Total to 9, 24, 29, 30, or 39.375, Leaving Some Fans Worry Bandai is Running Out
In just a few weeks, on September 24, the highly anticipated DLC 3 for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be released. Bandai Namco, the developer behind the popular game, has revealed six new characters set to join the battle.
The DLC 3 trailer showcases an array of iconic characters, including Goku (Mini) Super Saiyan 4, Goku (Daima) Super Saiyan 4, and Vegeta (Daima) Super Saiyan 3. Among the new additions, we also see Majin Duu, Third Eye Gomah, and Giant Gomah.
A spoiler warning is in order for those who haven't seen the trailer yet. The name of the new character added on September 24, 2023, is Goku (DAIMA) Super Saiyan 4.
The debate on whether transformations and alternate forms count as full Gokus has been a topic of discussion among players. If we consider transformations as full Gokus, the total number of Gokus in the game would be 29. However, the speaker warns that this might be misleading, potentially causing issues for anyone attempting a thorough Goku audit of Sparking Zero.
Last year, Aftermath conducted a Goku count for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, including transformations, fusions, and the argument that Cell's versions should count as one-fifth of a Goku. This resulted in a total of 30 Gokus.
If we count fusions as half a Goku, various versions of Gogeta, Vegito, and Fused Zamasu would bring the total number of Gokus to 29.5.
The speaker argues that if characters made up of Goku's cells should be counted as partial Gokus, we should also consider Goku's children. This would result in 14 Gohans equating to 7 Gokus and 2 Gotens equating to 1 Goku.
Super Buu's absorption of Gohan should bring another quarter-Goku, while Super Buu's absorption of Gotenks results in .125 Gokus. Goku's grandchild, Pan, would add another quarter-Goku to the total.
The battles of the DLC 3 characters are based on the anime's final fight, ensuring that players will experience intense and exciting battles. With these new additions, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero promises to offer an even more diverse and engaging gaming experience.
Stay tuned for more updates on Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's DLC 3, and get ready to join the fight on September 24!
