Dubai Launches Founders HQ Aiming to Create 30 Unicorns by 2033

Dubai has launched Dubai Founders HQ, a new initiative aiming to scale 30 unicorns and support 400 SMEs by 2033. The project, part of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, is a joint venture between the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. It was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

The hub, located at the 25Hours Hotel in Dubai World Trade Centre, offers a 'phygital' platform merging a physical space with an integrated digital ecosystem. It features co-working spaces, event facilities, networking areas, and a digital platform for learning resources and business setup support.

Dubai Founders HQ boasts over 25 leading public and private sector partners from venture capital, financial services, government, telecommunications, and innovation hubs. It aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and enablers to drive innovation and business growth. The initiative will offer tailored growth programmes, mentorship, and investor access through strategic collaborations with global ecosystem builders such as Endeavor and Plug and Play.

Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar Sultan Al Olama, believes Dubai Founders HQ positions Dubai as a global hub for digital entrepreneurship.

Dubai Founders HQ is set to play a significant role in Dubai's economic agenda, supporting startups and SMEs. With its comprehensive facilities and strategic partnerships, it is expected to foster innovation and contribute to the city's sustainable development.
