Eco-Movement Unveils New Features to Empower Charging Point Operators
Eco-Movement, a leading provider of charging station data, has announced new features to benefit charging point operators (CPOs). The Dutch company, with a global reach of over 73 countries, offers high-quality, real-time information to help CPOs expand and optimize their networks.
Eco-Movement's platform provides detailed insights, enabling CPOs to assess the location of points, tariffs, and trends for infrastructure expansion. This data-driven approach allows CPOs to stay competitive, adapt to trends, and make informed decisions.
The company's strategic planning tools help CPOs identify high-demand areas and potential expansion opportunities. By integrating and supporting National Access Points (NAPs), as required by European regulation, Eco-Movement ensures seamless connectivity across networks.
Eco-Movement's global coverage extends to heavy trucks, offering specific data about charging stations suitable for these vehicles. This is particularly relevant in the Netherlands, a leader in electric mobility with over 500,000 charging points and 369,791 new electric cars registered in 2023.
By joining Eco-Movement's database, charging stations gain increased visibility, attracting more users. With the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) mandating heavy vehicle charging stations every 60 kilometers along main networks by 2030, Eco-Movement's data and tools are crucial for CPOs to meet these requirements. Despite a lack of information about a specific 2023 initiative involving NAPs, Eco-Movement continues to support CPOs in their strategic planning and expansion.
