Electric Cooling Units Roll-Out by MTTE in 2025 for Distribution Transport
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe GmbH (MTTE) Unveils Expanded Electric Transport Refrigeration Portfolio at NUFAM 2025
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe GmbH (MTTE) has expanded its electric product portfolio for transport refrigeration units, presenting two new electric refrigeration systems at the NUFAM 2025 event in Karlsruhe.
The new offerings include the electric underfloor refrigeration unit TEU for trucks and the trailer refrigeration unit TEF 1500.
Key features of the electric underfloor refrigeration unit TEU for trucks are its design for efficient cooling in electric and hybrid trucks, zero local emissions, and installation underneath the truck to save valuable cargo space. The unit uses electric cooling technology to reduce environmental impact and comply with upcoming vehicle emissions regulations.
The trailer refrigeration unit TEF 1500 is a fully electric system, providing flexible and efficient cooling suitable for various trailer sizes. It supports zero-emission refrigeration on the road, contributing to sustainable transport logistics.
MTTE's strategic focus with these innovations is to support the transport industry's transition to electrification, offering environmentally friendly refrigeration solutions that maintain cargo quality while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and noise pollution. At NUFAM 2025, MTTE is showcasing these new units, as well as the complete Preciso product range of fully electric refrigeration units, in Hall 2, Stand D 206. The diesel version TU of the well-known underfloor series is also on display.
In addition to the trade show premieres, visitors can explore the new outdoor area, digital preview, and special exhibition on hydrogen propulsion at NUFAM 2025. The commercial vehicle industry is meeting in Karlsruhe with a focus on digitization and training.
