Electric Vehicle Company Ola Hires Security Personnel at Service Centers; Kamra Makes Light of Bhavish Aggarwal's Management Style

Kunal Kamra, a popular Indian comedian, has intensified his online activism against ride-hailing and electric vehicle company Ola, focusing particularly on their after-sales service.

The latest issue at hand is the hiring of bouncers at Ola's service centres, a move that Kamra has criticised in a recent tweet. His post reads, "Hey @bhash You've sold such an innovative Indian product you've had to hire bouncers to protect the staff..." This online feud between Kamra and Ola Electric's CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, started after Kamra shared photographs of Ola electric scooters reportedly left outside a company store. Aggarwal's response, which received widespread criticism, was to either help with solutions or "shut up."

Despite the controversy, neither Ola Electric nor its CEO has yet released an official statement regarding their customer service improvement strategy, refund policies, or a plan to address the hiring of bouncers at their service centres.

Kamra's earlier point about Ola scooter customers having no clear solutions remains unaddressed. He has urged Aggarwal to present a public action plan to improve customer service and address refund issues.

The exchange between Kamra and Aggarwal has drawn significant attention from social media users. Many have criticised Aggarwal's impolite approach in the public spat, while others have shown support for Kamra's activism.

In a surprising turn of events, Aggarwal offered Kamra employment at Ola's service center, stating it would pay better than his flop shows. However, Kamra has not responded to this offer publicly.

This ongoing feud between Kamra and Aggarwal highlights the need for better customer service and transparency from Ola Electric, particularly in the after-sales service of their products. It remains to be seen how Ola will respond to these criticisms and whether they will take steps to improve their customer service and refund policies.
