Musk's stake in xAI Holdings, formed by the merger of his AI company xAI and the messaging platform X, is valued at $60 billion. He owns 53 percent of this company. Additionally, his 42 percent stake in SpaceX, the space exploration company, is valued at $168 billion.
Tesla's board of directors has proposed a new compensation package for Musk. If approved, it could potentially bring him up to $1 trillion in Tesla shares. Musk currently owns a 12 percent stake in Tesla, valued at $191 billion.
Musk's wealth is significantly ahead of the world's second-richest person, Larry Ellison, by $150 billion. His diverse investments, including xAI Holdings and SpaceX, along with his stake in Tesla, have contributed to this remarkable achievement.
