Expanding its retail presence, Ultraviolette marks its presence in five major Indian cities, with ambitions to extend to a hundred cities by the end of Financial Year 26.

Ultraviolette, an Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently made significant strides in its operations. The company has expanded its retail network into Rajasthan and West Bengal, opening new experience centres—known as UV Space Stations—in cities such as Jaipur and Kolkata [1][2][3]. This strategic move marks Ultraviolette's official entry into these states and increases its presence to 17 cities across India.

These experience centres, operated through local dealer partners, offer a full-service ecosystem. Customers can enjoy test rides, motorcycle deliveries, post-sales service, and spares support [1][2]. Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, emphasised that this expansion is more than geographic growth; it focuses on building a scalable and consistent customer experience via a robust sales and service ecosystem [1][2][4].

In parallel with this expansion, Ultraviolette has also upgraded its flagship F77 electric motorbike series. The latest software update includes the Gen3 Powertrain Firmware and a new Ballistic+ performance mode, improving acceleration and throttle response based on extensive real-world data [1][2]. The Gen3 firmware is based on data collected by the company's proprietary Violette A.I. system, which monitors over 3,000 parameters during a ride [1].

The learnings from these parameters have been employed to develop the power delivery and handling of the motorcycle. For instance, the MACH 2 model of the F77 includes features of safety and convenience like traction control, regenerative braking with 10 levels of adjustability, hill-hold assist, and the inclusion of Violette A.I. to enable adaptive system behavior [3].

Ultraviolette's rapid and focused expansion reflects strong consumer demand and operational agility, bolstering its position in India's premium electric two-wheeler market [1][2][4]. The company's ambitious plan is to expand to 100 Indian cities by fiscal year 2026 (FY26) [1][2][3].

Beyond the F77 series, Ultraviolette offers several electric motorcycle models, including the Ultraviolette Shockwave, Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, Ultraviolette F99, Ultraviolette Tesseract, and Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet [4]. The company is yet to launch the Ultraviolette F99 and Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric models.

Subramaniam stated that the expansion reflects agility and long-term strategic planning [3]. This expansion, coupled with ongoing product innovation, positions Ultraviolette well for the future of India's electric vehicle market.
