EZ Aim Unveils 'Hardrock' Drill for Rapid, Adaptive Shooting

EZ Aim, a renowned brand in shooting equipment, introduces a new drill to enhance shooting proficiency and speed. The drill, named 'EZ Aim Hardrock', uses two targets and three sight configurations, pushing shooters to adapt and improve.

The drill begins with a 'ready' position, arms relaxed at the sides, firearm holstered and concealed. Two targets are placed at varying distances: a full-sized target at 5 yards and a 50% target at 20 yards. This setup forces different sight-picture configurations, challenging shooters to adapt.

The drill consists of three phases. The warm-up phase involves drawing and firing without sights, then firing again without a sight picture, repeating five times in under two seconds with hits in the 'C' zone or better. This phase focuses on quick, instinctive shooting.

The slow change phase requires drawing, firing two rounds without sights, acquiring the front sight, firing again, and repeating ten times in no more than 2.25 seconds. Center-mass hits must land in at least the 'C' zone. This phase tests the shooter's ability to quickly change and use sights.

The hard change phase is similar but demands more precision. After drawing and firing two rounds without sights, shooters must align both front and rear sight, fire the third round, and repeat ten times in no more than 2.75 seconds. Center-mass hits must land in at least the 'C' zone. This phase pushes shooters to maintain precision under time pressure.

The EZ Aim Hardrock system is designed to constantly change sight usage, helping shooters build an instinctive judgment of when to use sights at different distances. The drill is a comprehensive test of speed, accuracy, and adaptability, making it an invaluable tool for shooters looking to improve their skills.
