France Kicks Off Year of Engineering Oct 1, 2025
The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, along with engineering associations, is set to inaugurate the 'Year of Engineering' on October 1, 2025. The launch event, titled 'Main Event', will take place at the Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac in Paris, from 9:15 AM to 5:00 PM. Backed by the CNRS, the Academy of Technologies, and the Ministry of National Education, the 'Main Event' aims to bring together various sectors to highlight engineering trades and knowledge.
The launch day will feature an 'Engineering Village', showcasing engineering and its sciences through around thirty stands. It will also train national education actors to integrate engineering themes into educational paths, aligning with the 2025-2026 school year dedicated to 'Science' and technologies.
The 'Main Event' will highlight advances in green and responsible engineering, presenting innovative technical solutions. It will conclude with a round table discussion on gender stereotypes in engineering fields. RSVP for the 'Main Event' can be done via presse@ourwebsite.
The 'Year of Engineering' launch day promises to be an engaging and informative event, bringing together school, research, businesses, and the public. It is expected to strengthen the appeal of engineering 'sciences' and technologies among young people and the public.
