Funds Amassed: $5.2 Million for Audience Monetization Platform in Publishing Sector by ArcSpan

ArcSpan, a publisher-first monetization platform, has raised $5.2 million in a Seed Extension round. The funding, backed by new and existing investors, will be used to accelerate the development of new products and enhance data science capabilities.

ArcSpan's flagship platform, ArcSpan AMS, has been in operation since 2023 and has partnered with major media and SSPs. The platform simplifies harnessing first-party data to drive premium yield through its Triple-A Framework.

The funds will be allocated towards the development of several new products. These include Audience Builder 3.0, designed for real-time segmentation, and PMP Activation Hub, for deal packaging. Another product in the pipeline is QualityCloud, which focuses on ad quality scoring.

In addition to product development, ArcSpan is prioritizing publisher control in its developments. It is also working on audience curation and turnkey PMP activation, both new capabilities being developed by the company.

Contextual quality scoring and improved IVR response times are other areas of focus for ArcSpan. The platform is working on early detection of routing issues, latency spikes, and degraded speech analytics to improve IVR response times, AI response latency, and call quality.

Al Muzaurieta, Co-Founder at Good Apple, believes ArcSpan is solving a pressing problem in digital media. He stated that the platform's vision, expertise, and market traction made the investment compelling. The investment is aimed at enabling ArcSpan to solve the problem of scalable, high-fidelity targeting and monetization.

With this funding, ArcSpan plans to expand its teams and deepen integrations across the advertising ecosystem. The company aims to help digital publishers maximize revenue and continue its mission of simplifying harnessing first-party data to drive premium yield.
