Corsair Introduces Wooden-Cased Gaming PC with Cutting-edge Hardware

Corsair, a renowned manufacturer in the gaming PC market, has unveiled the new Corsair One i600, featuring a unique fusion of high-performance components and a wood-finished case.

Previously, the small-form-factor Corsair One series used traditional chassis designs. However, the brand introduced a wooden-finished variant last year and, to the surprise of many, is bringing it back this year. Notably, the 2025 model houses an NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics card, which fans might have feared could overheat in the wooden case. Fortunately, Corsair also offers a Metal Dark aesthetic alternative.

Interestingly, the wooden panels encasing the new rig disguise a fully recycled aluminum case, a rare feature among the best gaming PCs. The i600 features a 240mm dual-liquid cooling system and mesh side panels to aid heat management and maintain peak performance.

Such power comes at a premium. Priced at $4,999.99, the Corsair One i600 is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 4TB NVMe SSD. The RTX 5080 graphics card will deliver exceptional gaming, content creation, and AI performance.

Those seeking a unique, compact gaming setup with a stylish, wooden touch should consider the Corsair One i600. Content creators will appreciate the high-speed memory and storage. However, those planning upgrades or seeking an economical route to an RTX 5080 machine may want to reconsider, as future upgrades inside the ITX case might prove challenging.

The i600 sports various ports, including two USB-A, a USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the front. Unlike other models, the rear IO panel is neatly integrated into the desktop PC itself, allowing easy cable management.

Additionally, the RGB underglow adds a touch of ambient gaming personality. A touch sensor for the rear IO ports aids cable management by making it easier to plug devices in, even in dim lighting conditions. The PC comes with Corsair One software to monitor performance and customize cooling settings.

Since its official reveal, the Corsair One i600 has gone on backorder due to high demand. To secure yours, order soon, as it is scheduled to ship between June 5 and June 12.
