In a bid to enhance the dynamic and immersive experience of its events, Oracle Red Bull Racing, in collaboration with PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has unveiled a stunning transformation at its MK-7 venue in Milton Keynes, UK.

The centrepiece of this transformation is a 151.7-foot-wide Philips dvLED wall, installed inside the MK-7 headquarters. This horseshoe-shaped wall, measuring 151.7x9 feet (46.25x2.75m), is the largest dvLED wall installed in an indoor events space in Europe, serving as a captivating centrepiece in the main auditorium and a backdrop for the growing horseshoe of Formula One cars on display.

The Philips Public dvLED wall was chosen for its high refresh rates, colour and brightness quality, and a 2.4mm pixel pitch, delivering a total screen resolution of 19240x144. The installation was completed in just 23 days by PPDS, in collaboration with Ruitech Solutions.

Oracle Red Bull Racing sought this transformation to align with its brand values and the fast-paced world of Formula One. Nick Kenton, director of hospitality and events at Oracle Red Bull Racing, stated, "Our mission is to win and do it differently."

The MK-7 event space, which opened to visitors in 2018 and is located within the Red Bull Racing Technology Campus, offers an F1-themed event setting for businesses and individuals, featuring Oracle Red Bull Racing memorabilia, artefacts, and championship-winning cars. The space needed to adapt to allow flexibility for growth and change, as well as a fresh look and feel, with cutting-edge technologies to match.

The existing audiovisual setup at MK-7 was deemed outdated, too static, and no longer reflective of Oracle Red Bull Racing's brand values. To address this, PPDS has installed 13 Philips interactive displays at the MK-7 offices. These displays include four 86BDL8051C, six 65BDL6051C, two 98BDL4550D, and one 86BDL4550D. The Philips Public LED displays feature built-in cabling to keep wires tidy and display cabinets daisy chained for both power and data, minimising clutter.

Moreover, the Philips Public LED 7000 Series' low power consumption aligns with both PPDS' and Oracle Red Bull Racing's sustainability commitments. Additionally, Active Health Monitoring in Philips LED displays makes maintenance and parts replacement predictable, fast, and efficient.

This latest collaboration between PPDS and Oracle Red Bull Racing follows the recent upgrade of the team's MK-7 marketing team offices. The partnership, which began in 2022, highlights the team's commitment to innovative technology and collaboration tools to support their marketing efforts and reinforce their leadership in Formula One.
