Giant SUV with staggering 1,381 horsepower and biggest hybrid battery globally unveiled by Zeekr
The automotive world is abuzz with the arrival of the Zeekr 9X, a groundbreaking plug-in hybrid SUV from Chinese manufacturer Zeekr. This vehicle, the first of its kind from the company, boasts a powerful hybrid powertrain and a battery pack that is the largest in the world for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
A Giant Leap in Hybrid Technology
The Zeekr 9X's power output is nothing short of impressive. With a combined power of up to 1,381 horsepower (1,030 kW) from a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine and three electric motors, it outperforms the Lamborghini Urus and the Ferrari Purosangue, as approved by Charles Leclerc.
The heart of the 9X's performance lies in its 70 kWh CATL Freevoy battery, the largest ever fitted in a PHEV passenger car. This battery supports high-speed 6C charging on a 900V system, enabling it to recharge from 20% to 80% in about 9 minutes.
