Global Crackdown: Two CVLT Leaders Arrested for Grooming Minors into Violence and Exploitation
Authorities have arrested two suspected leaders of an extremist online group, CVLT, as part of a global crackdown coordinated by Europol. The group, affiliated with neo-Nazi ideology, has been accused of grooming and coercing minors into acts of violence and sexual exploitation in the USA.
The arrests were made on January 30 by US authorities, with the suspects identified as Shahriar J., also known as White Tiger, and another individual aged 41. They are believed to have acted as administrators of the CVLT network, controlling membership and hosting online forums used for the group's illicit activities. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the US Homeland Security Investigations, Europol, the French National Police, the UK's National Crime Agency, and New Zealand's Department of Internal Affairs. It was revealed that victims were forced into degrading acts and threatened into silence, with some coerced into suicide attempts via livestream. CVLT members targeted vulnerable children, subjecting them to extreme psychological and physical abuse, including self-harm, racial self-degradation, and extreme bodily mutilation. At least 16 minors worldwide are believed to have been coerced into producing abuse material and engaging in self-destructive behavior. Authorities continue to investigate additional members of The Com, CVLT, and similar extremist groups to dismantle their networks and bring those responsible to justice.
The arrests mark a significant step in dismantling the CVLT network and protecting vulnerable minors in the USA. Europol's central role in coordinating international investigations into online child abuse networks has been crucial in this effort. As the investigation continues, law enforcement agencies remain committed to identifying and apprehending all those involved in these heinous crimes.
