Google's Pixel 10 Series Leaps Ahead With Fast Qi2 Wireless Charging
Google's latest Pixel 10 series introduces a significant upgrade in wireless charging technology. The devices support the new Qi2 standard, offering faster and more efficient speed test.
The Pixel 10 series supports Qi2 wireless charging at speeds up to 15W with any Qi2 certified charger. The Pixel 10 Pro XL takes this a step further, offering 25W wireless charging speeds, thanks to its support for Qi2.2. This is a notable improvement, as the latest Qi wireless charging version, Qi2 25W, supports charging speeds up to 25W with magnetic alignment.
Google is marketing its Qi2 wireless charging system as Pixelsnap, which includes a charging puck, stand, cases, and a kickstand. These accessories, along with third-party Qi2 certified ones, provide more charging options for Pixel 10 series users. Manufacturers like UGREEN and Baseus are already offering Qi2.2-certified chargers and power banks, with Baseus devices also delivering up to 15W wireless charging and including USB-C ports with up to 67W wired charging.
The new wireless charging system includes built-in magnets for stable contact and faster top-up speeds. This, combined with the faster processor, improved camera, and new AI features, makes the Pixel 10 series a compelling upgrade.
The Pixel 10 series' support for Qi2 wireless charging, with speeds up to 25W, is a significant leap forward in mobile charging technology. With a range of compatible accessories and third-party chargers available, users can enjoy faster, more convenient speed test. This, coupled with the series' other improvements, positions the Pixel 10 as a strong contender in the smartphone market.
