This move is part of Apple's strategy to manage launch-day demand at its UAE stores, addressing logistic challenges caused by enthusiastic fans queuing a night prior. The iPhone 17 series, which includes the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, will also be available for pickup at other Apple stores, such as Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, and Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
The pricing for the iPhone 17 series in the UAE is as follows: the iPhone 17 is priced at Dh3,399 with a 256GB base storage, the iPhone 17 Pro is priced at Dh4,699 and comes with upgraded base storage, and the iPhone Air, positioned where the iPhone Plus once was, is priced at Dh4,299. Notably, the iPhone 17 Pro Max retains its original price.
To facilitate a smooth pickup process, Apple's system will send a notification with a QR code or pickup pass when an order is ready for collection. It is important to note that valid ID is required for pickup at Apple stores in the UAE.
