Harley Davidson Motorcycle Customized with Doom Theme Represents Impressive Merge of Motorbikes and Video Games since The Dark Age Era.
In a diabolical alliance of steel and demons, Bethesda, in conjunction with Harley-Davidson, unleashes the ultimate metal ride - the Doom: The Dark Ages motorcycle. This one-of-a-kind beast draws inspiration from the forthcoming game's twisted take on the demonic devastation of Earth. And yes, this bad boy is so damn cool, it's made me doubt the inherent awesomeness of motorcycles.
Adorned with the essence of Doom (minus the liquid from the fuel tank, hopefully), this masterpiece is the end result of collaboration between id Software's artists and the legendary motorcycle brand. The motorbike grabs you by the throat and screams, "This is DOOM!"
Sporting the insane livery of Serrat, the new mechanized dragon from Doom: The Dark Ages, this Iron Horse flat-out reeks of Doom. Serrat's snarling maw engulfs the front headlight, giving the bike a fire-breathing aesthetic that's bound to turn heads on the road. Other features sporting armour from the game, runes, and custom LEDs complete the monstrous, demonic look.
One of the most badass bike accessories I've ever seen are LED lights positioned at the ground, creating the illusion of dragon wings as you ride. It's like speeding through Hades with a set of angel's wings attached to your bike. And, those glowing red wheels? They look just like themed PC fans – a subtle nod to its gamer identity. A design decision that distinguishes it from the Doom: The Dark Ages logo slapped on the side, clearly letting everyone know it's a gamer bike.
AStarting the bike is like awakening an ancient, infernal beast. According to Simon Alty, VP and Managing Director (APAC) at Bethesda Softworks, "Creating this DOOM: The Dark Ages motorcycle with the support of Harley-Davidson is truly a match made in Hell." He continues, "The iconic motorcycle brand is renowned for its power and style, much like our legendary DOOM Slayer."
Of course, caution is key when riding on a Ravager from Hell, so safety comes first. The collaboration includes a themed jacket and helmet, both in sleek, all-black with gothic spikes. The jacket sports a plush, black fur collar, while the helmet keeps it cool, featuring a DOOM aesthetic with a red visor and spike-hawk. Dress to slay, not just in-game but on the street too.
Availability? Get ready to fight tooth and nail. Just like snatching a Doom-themed Asus RTX 5080, this bike will be harder to grab than aComparable to Willy Wonka's golden ticket, the bike will only be awarded to those attending the Doom: The Dark Ages launch event. Mark your calendars: the event takes place at Culture Kings on George Street, Sydney, Australia on Friday, 16th May 2025, from 7 pm to 9 pm AEST. Australian residents only.
With Doom: The Dark Ages set to launch in less than a week on May 13, you don't have long to wait before you can rip and tear medieval-style. I'm bummed I have to sacrifice my acrobatic moves, but I'm stoked to indulge in some gory, fist-fighting fun. And, if I don't win the bike in the competition, I'll always have my crossbow BFG and my new threads to make me feel extra badass.
