Hero MotoCorp Reports Strong September 2025 Sales, Boosts Electric Vehicle Segment and Exports

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of two-wheelers, has reported a significant surge in sales and production figures for September 2025. The company has also made strides in its electric vehicle segment and exports.

Domestic dispatches in September 2025 totalled 6,47,582 units, a notable 5% increase from the previous year's 6,16,706 units. This growth is driven by a 54% year-on-year increase in scooter units dispatched, which reached 61,003 units in September 2025. Motorcycle units also saw a 5% rise, with 6,26,217 units dispatched. Hero MotoCorp's electric vehicle subsidiary, Vida, contributed 12,736 units to this total.

The company's exports have nearly doubled, reaching 39,638 units in September 2025 compared to the previous year. This impressive figure represents a 24% rise from August's 5,53,727 units. Hero MotoCorp's global presence has been further boosted by becoming the first Indian manufacturer to cross 125 million cumulative two-wheeler production.

In terms of registrations, Hero MotoCorp recorded 3,23,230 Vahan registrations in September 2025, showing a 19% year-on-year growth. The company sold 6,87,220 units in September 2025, an 8% increase from September 2024. Year-to-date dispatches for FY26 now stand at 30,57,772 units, marginally ahead of the corresponding period of FY25.

Hero MotoCorp's strong performance in September 2025 is a testament to its resilience and growth potential. The company's focus on electric vehicles and exports has paid off, with impressive increases in both segments. With a robust domestic market and a strong global presence, Hero MotoCorp continues to lead the two-wheeler industry.
