Tesla Opens First Diner and Drive-In Theater in Hollywood
Tesla has made its mark in the entertainment industry with the opening of its first Tesla Diner and Drive-In Theater in Hollywood, California. Located at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Orange Drive, the 9,300-square-foot, two-story facility is an island of good food, good vibes, and entertainment, all while Supercharging.
The Tesla Diner is a culmination of Tesla's commitment to sustainable energy and innovative design. The venue boasts 80 V4 Supercharger stalls for electric vehicles, making it a convenient stop for EV drivers. The immersive design, including a portal-like window in the restrooms, has been praised by visitors.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, dined at the Tesla Diner and expressed his praise for the team's work. He hinted at plans to establish similar diner-Supercharger venues in major cities worldwide and at Supercharger sites on long-distance routes. If this diner proves successful, Tesla plans to expand these locations globally[1][3].
The Hollywood Tesla Diner has become a roadside attraction and social media hot spot. The 45-foot LED screens at the Tesla Diner serve as digital marquees, offering Tesla owners content to watch while charging. Food can be ordered from inside cars via the Tesla app and delivered directly at the Tesla Diner.
The menu at the Tesla Diner features familiar comfort classics with modern twists, including wagyu beef chili, Tesla burgers, fried chicken and waffles, hot dogs, and hand-spun shakes. The pricing is similar to other burger joints in the area.
The Tesla Diner offers more than just dining. It features a rooftop lounge and two massive 45-foot LED movie screens. Only Tesla owners can access the integrated drive-in theater audio experience at the Tesla Diner. The venue also houses an indoor dining area, a rooftop bar, outdoor seating, and a gift shop with Tesla merchandise.

As of early August 2025, the Hollywood Tesla Diner has been open for just under two weeks, and Tesla is still working through initial operational challenges. No specific locations for additional Tesla Diners or Drive-In Theaters have been announced yet, but Musk’s statements suggest expansion is planned[3][4].
