Intuit Launches Tap to Pay on iPhone for QuickBooks Users in US

Intuit has introduced Tap to Pay on iPhone 15 for QuickBooks Online users in the U.S., allowing them to manage business finances more efficiently and improve cash flow. This new functionality enables users to process transactions through the QuickBooks mobile or GoPayment iOS apps without additional POS hardware.

Tap to Pay on iPhone 15 offers a secure and cost-effective payment solution. Apple's technology ensures high security standards by not storing card numbers or transaction data on the device or Apple servers. Additionally, it provides lower processing fees compared to manually entered payments.

The feature supports all forms of contactless payments, including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets. Business owners can create new invoices or get paid instantly on open invoices using Tap to Pay on iPhone 15, expanding invoicing capabilities. Transactions processed through Tap to Pay on iPhone 15 automatically sync with QuickBooks Online, providing seamless payment management and reconciliation on a single platform.

In Germany, the integration of Tap to Pay on iPhone 15 is supported by the Apple Pay ecosystem, which works with various banks and payment service providers that allow adding their cards to Apple Wallet, such as Noveba. Apple Pay itself supports major credit cards like VISA, MasterCard, and American Express globally, including Germany.

Tap to Pay on iPhone 15 began rolling out today and will be available to all QuickBooks Online customers in the U.S. with a QuickBooks Payments plan within the coming weeks. This new feature enables small and mid-market businesses to accept in-person contactless payments using only an iPhone 15, improving their payment management and cash flow.
