Jaguar Classic Unveils 60 Collection: Six Pairs of Iconic E-Type Classics Revived
Jaguar Classic has unveiled the 60 Collection, a limited edition of the iconic E-Type, comprising six pairs of meticulously restored coupes and convertibles. Each car retains its original 3.8-litre straight-six engine, now enhanced for modern driving.
The 60 Collection pays homage to the 1963 E-Type Fixed Head Coupe '9600 HP' and Convertible '77 RW'. Each car in the collection boasts a striking paint job, mirroring the originals, such as 'Drop Everything Green' and 'Flat Out Grey'. The interiors feature engraved phrases celebrating the E-Type's launch.
Powering these classics is the original 3.8-litre straight-six engine, now equipped with improved cooling and electronic ignition. This sends 265bhp to the rear wheels via a modern five-speed synchro gearbox, ensuring a thrilling drive.
Only six pairs of the Jaguar E-Type 60 Collection will be available, with estimates placing the pair's price close to £750k. Owners will enjoy a special outing in 2022, retracing the original route to Geneva. The 60 Collection offers a unique blend of classic style and modern performance.
