Kifaru, renowned for robust hiking backpacks, has ventured into everyday carry (EDC) and travel bags with its 2025 lineup. The new Checkpoint bag and updated Echo bag offer durability and functionality for various needs.
Both bags, available in Moss, Slate, and Black, share several robust features. They are crafted from 500D Cordura nylon, equipped with YKK zippers, and reinforced with mil-spec hardware. The Echo bag, starting at $269, boasts a capacity of 21.79L, expandable to 29.98L, with reinforced side pockets for water bottles and a luggage pass-through. It weighs 1 lb 15 oz unstructured, or 2 lbs 3 oz with the optional frame sheet add-on for $20. The Checkpoint bag, priced at $349, offers a larger capacity of 27.8L, an internal frame sheet, and a floating laptop sleeve for 15-inch devices. It weighs 3 lbs and features ergonomic shoulder straps with foam padding for comfort during extended wear.
