Silence enthusiasts will enjoy the solitary audio experience offered by the latest headphones from Final, featuring a mode dedicated solely to Active Noise Cancellation.

Latest Release of Final Headphones Features ANC-Exclusive Setting, Catering to Sound Aficionados Seeking Quiet Environments

Get ready to tunout the outside world in style with Final's latest wireless over-ears, the UX3000 SV. These bad boys offer a Noise-Cancellation-Only Mode that activates the ANC system without activating the audio playback gadgets, essentially turning them into a pair of powerhouse earplugs for ultimate silence.

Perfect for those who want to carve out a quiet zone without any distractions, the Noise-Cancellation-Only Mode is a game-changer. We're still waiting on the nitty-gritty details on battery life improvements (if any) and call functionality, but we've nudged Final to spill the beans and keep you posted.

On the inside, you'll find a custom 40mm dynamic driver, snuggly housed within a purpose-built chamber optimized for human voice reproduction. This means these cans are designed to deliver killer vocals, making them a dream for podcasts, audiobooks, and music with a heavy focus on the human voice.

As for battery life, you can expect up to 35 hours of playback with ANC off, or 25 hours with noise cancellation active. They charge up nicely in around 2.5 hours via USB-C.

Objective and minimally designed, the SV edition sports a foldable design and a bumpy Shibo-textured silver finish. Much like its predecessor, it exudes practicality and simplicity. But don't let the sleek appearance fool you—these headphones pack a punch when it comes to noise cancellation.

Our review of the original UX3000 was pretty positive, praising its effective noise cancellation, solid build quality, and accessibility. However, we did find the sound lacking in dynamic punch and rhythmic drive. The voice-focused tuning of the SV edition aims to tackle these issues, particularly concerning vocal clarity and separation.

Will they inject more energy and character into the overall sound signature? Only time will tell, but we're crossing our fingers for a pleasantly surprising sonic performance.

Gearing up to grab a pair for yourself? The new Final UX3000 SV wireless headphones are available from today, priced at the same $150 / £119 as its predecessor (Australian pricing TBC). Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop on the latest hi-fi, home cinema, and tech news!
