Continuum 2020, the latest release from Boris FX, is a significant upgrade to their plugin collection designed for video editing software. This comprehensive suite offers over 350 tools for visual effects, motion graphics, transitions, keying, particles, and image restoration.
One of the key highlights of Continuum 2020 is its integration with Mocha planar tracking and masking technology. This integration enables precise tracking and rotoscoping workflows within the plugin suite, making it an invaluable tool for professional editors.
Continuum 2020 supports major editing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, and OFX hosts, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of software applications. The collection is also part of the Boris FX Suite, often bundled alongside Sapphire (known for 270+ effects) and Mocha Pro, offering a comprehensive post-production toolkit.
In addition to the existing tools, Continuum 2020 introduces several new features. The Corner Pin Studio, designed for cell phone, computer, and sign inserts/replacements, allows for accurate positioning of source shots and offers blending options. The Cast Shadow Effect uses an integrated point or parallel light source positioned in 3D space, allowing for the creation of true 3D shadows.
Six new drag-and-drop dissolve transitions have been added to Continuum 2020, adding variety to your transition choices. Moreover, customers on Continuum 11 or earlier can upgrade to Continuum 2020 with affordable options.
