MAAP Launches Premium Gravel-Specific Alt_Road Cargo Bib Shorts 2.0
MAAP has introduced the Alt_Road Cargo Bib Shorts 2.0, their latest gravel-specific cycling shorts. Crafted in Vietnam, these bib shorts boast an off-road specific chamois and a premium price tag.
The chamois in the MAAP Alt_Road 2.0 Bib Shorts is designed with rough terrain in mind. It uses a higher density foam to dampen vibrations, a feature that proved exceptional in a recent gravel race with varied conditions.
The main fabric is a soft-touch polyamide and elastane mix, providing comfort and durability. Gridded woven fabric is used on the side panels for added compression and support. Large silicone grippers on the legs ensure the shorts stay in place, even on rough trails.
Storage is ample with two large side leg pockets and a combination of central deep pocket and two zip side pockets at the rear. These cargo pockets can accommodate large items like a smartphone or tool roll, with a compressive element to keep them secure.
The MAAP Alt_Road Cargo Bib Shorts 2.0 are available in three colors and sizes XS to XXL, catering to a wide range of cyclists. Priced at £250 / $320, they are a premium option in the gravel cycling market, offering high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and excellent performance on rough terrain.
