Mahindra Unveils 2025 Thar Facelift: Prices Start at ₹9.99 Lakh
Mahindra has unveiled the 2025 Thar Facelift, with prices ranging from ₹9.99 lakh to ₹16.99 lakh ex-showroom in India. The new model retains three powertrain options and offers improved features and safety.
The 2025 Mahindra Thar continues with a 1.5-litre diesel, a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. The entry-level AXT variant, starting at ₹9.99 lakh, comes with halogen headlights, LED tail lamps, 16-inch steel wheels, and dual airbags. Buyers can choose between a relaxed rear-wheel setup or a 4WD system.
The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine generates 150 bhp and 300 to 320 Nm of torque, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 116 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, paired with RWD. The top-of-the-line LXT variant, priced between ₹12.19 lakh and ₹16.99 lakh, includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, fog lamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a rear camera. The 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, producing 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, is reserved for 4x4 versions.
