Martin Guitar has launched the Mikael Åkerfeldt OM Signature guitar, a collaboration with the renowned musician. The guitar, available now, is limited to 74 units worldwide and priced at £/$6,999. It features a unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern design, reflecting Åkerfeldt's extensive experience with Martin acoustics.
The guitar boasts a VTS torrefied solid spruce top and scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, providing a rich, resonant sound. Its Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, coupled with an ebony fingerboard adorned with roman numeral inlays, offer both aesthetic appeal and tonal warmth.
