Microsoft Revamps Bing Places for Business with Free Listing Management & New Recommendation Tool
Microsoft has revamped its Bing Places for Business platform, offering improved local business listings management and a new recommendation tool. The update aims to enhance user experience and help businesses reach more customers.
The overhauled platform, now accessible at bing.com/forbusiness, allows businesses to create and manage listings across Bing Search and Bing Maps at no cost. This includes displaying accurate location, hours, and contact details, boosting visibility in Bing search results and on Bing Maps.
Microsoft rebuilt the platform following extensive research with business owners, addressing their challenges and goals. A key addition is a new Recommendation Tool that suggests specific enhancements to listings, such as photos, website links, and category-specific items. Additionally, the Google import flow has been streamlined for multi-location brands and agencies, preserving key attributes and introducing efficient management features.
More updates are planned in the coming months. These include deeper integrations with Bing Maps and Copilot, and expanded support for agencies and partners. Current Bing Places users and their listings are being automatically migrated to the new experience.
