Microsoft's November Patch Tuesday: 12 Security Bulletins, Top Priority MS15-115

The top priority was MS15-115, fixing seven Windows vulnerabilities, including two remotely exploitable font subsystem flaws affecting all Windows versions. Internet Explorer users were protected by MS15-112, which addressed 25 fixes, 23 of them critical, exploitable through malicious webpages. Microsoft 365 users were safeguarded by MS15-116, which fixed seven flaws, five of which allowed remote code execution. Edge Browser and Windows Journal users were also covered, with critical updates MS15-113 and MS15-114 respectively. Browser and email attacks, ranked as priority 7 by the Center for Internet Security, were addressed in these updates. Adobe's Flash update, APSB15-28, fixed critical vulnerabilities that allowed code execution within the user's context.
