Modern Office Architecture: Vector IT Campus serves as a blueprint for contemporary workspace designs

GEZE GmbH Enhances Vector IT-Campus with Smart Building Technology

The Vector IT-Campus in Stuttgart, a modern architectural complex housing around 1,000 employees of IT company Vector Informatik, is a shining example of how smart building technology can create real added value. GEZE GmbH, an internationally active family-owned company based in Leonberg, Germany, specializing in solutions for doors, windows, and security systems, played a key role in realizing the building's infrastructure.

GEZE GmbH's portfolio includes automatic door drives, smoke and heat exhaust systems, and comprehensive networking solutions. The company's flagship offering, myGEZE Control, intelligently connects doors, windows, and security systems, creating an intelligent building that responds to the needs of modern users and operators.

At the Vector IT-Campus, myGEZE Control was used to control doors, windows, and security systems, enhancing comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. The solution precisely controls access rights and reliably monitors escape routes, ensuring the highest safety standards.

MyGEZE Control also contributes to the creation of climate-active facades by combining with heating and cooling systems. Energy efficiency is a central focus of the myGEZE Control solution, as it enables automatic opening and closing of windows for night-time ventilation, reducing energy consumption.

Under the myGEZE Connectivity umbrella, GEZE GmbH offers the myGEZE Control platform, which seamlessly integrates doors, windows, and security systems into building control systems. The myGEZE Control networking solution is used in the Vector IT-Campus, allowing central control and real-time monitoring of all door and window systems.

The Vector IT-Campus demonstrates how modern architecture and intelligent building technology can work together. By combining high architectural quality with the latest requirements for energy efficiency, comfort, and safety, the building not only impresses architecturally but also sets technological standards.

GEZE GmbH, with its 150-year history and around 3,000 employees globally, has been at the forefront of this revolution, aiming to make buildings safer, more comfortable, and more energy-efficient through smart systems that connect and control individual components. The Vector IT-Campus is a testament to their success in this endeavour.

The intelligent control system for doors, windows, and escape routes in the Vector IT Campus in Stuttgart was developed by the company ILM Ulm. This collaboration underscores that smart building is more than just a buzzword, creating real added value. The Vector IT-Campus serves as a reference project for future office and commercial buildings, showcasing the value of smart building technologies in terms of energy efficiency, security, and user-friendliness.
