New 2026 Nissan Rogue Lineup Expands with Dark Armor and Rock Creek Trims
The 2026 Nissan Rogue is set to offer more variety with the introduction of two new trims: the Dark Armor and Rock Creek. The Rogue continues to stand out in the crowded SUV market, boasting improved fuel economy and advanced technology.
In the higher trims, the 2026 Rogue offers Google built-in, placing Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play directly into the dashboard via a 12.3-inch touchscreen interface.
The Dark Armor trim, a stylish new edition, comes with blacked-out accents and upgraded interior features. Although the exact price is pending official release, it is expected to fall between the Rogue SV and SL trims, likely closer to the mid-$30,000 range. The Dark Armor edition includes an HD Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.
The Rock Creek trim, more adventure-oriented, focuses on features like all-terrain tires and a tubular roof rack. Priced around $33,690 to $35,080, it slots also in the mid-to-upper mid-range for the lineup. The Rock Creek model has a visual and functional nod to Nissan's adventure-minded audience, with features like Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires and Lava Red accents.
The popular SV AWD starts at $31,190, and the SL AWD at $36,690. The base model of the 2026 Rogue, the S FWD, begins at $28,790, while the S AWD bumps the price to $30,190.
Every 2026 Rogue comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of advanced safety technologies. The powertrain includes Idle Stop-Start technology for reduced emissions and fuel savings in urban driving conditions. The powertrain delivers up to 201 horsepower and is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
ProPILOT Assist 2.1, an advanced hands-off highway driving system, is available in the Platinum AWD trim. This system allows drivers to momentarily take their hands off the wheel, but drivers are responsible for monitoring traffic and road conditions.
The Rogue offers options for buyers across climates and driving preferences with AWD available across most configurations. The Rock Creek trim is exclusive to all-wheel-drive models and starts at $33,690.
A destination and handling charge of $1,390 applies to all trims. The 2026 Nissan Rogue lineup is a steady performer in a crowded field, affirming its place among the segment's leaders.
