NordBau 2022 Breaks Records With 50,300 Visitors, Showcases Electric & Digital Construction Machines

The 70th NordBau, a significant event in the construction industry, kicked off with a record-breaking 50,300 visitors and 701 exhibitors from 16 countries. This year's fair marked two special anniversaries: the 70th edition of NordBau and the 50th year of its partnership with Denmark.

The event was graced by notable speakers, including Claus Ruhe Madsen, Thomas Østrup Møller, and Karen Pein. Among the key attractions were Swecon and Volvo, who debuted their K series and F series models in Germany. XCMG stole the show with a new engine concept for electric machines, while Wacker Neuson unveiled the W 300e mini wheel loader and the EZ10e electric excavator.

Looking ahead to NordBau 2025, companies like XCMG, Atlas, Wacker Neuson, and Liebherr are set to present newer solutions for electrically powered and digital construction machines. A special exhibition focused on 'Temperature-reduced asphalt - the future of asphalt maintenance' gave visitors a glimpse into innovative technologies. LiuGong showcased its 856HE electric wheel loader, claiming world leadership in electrically driven construction machines. The fair also displayed the latest construction machines, including electric and digital technologies.

NordBau 2022, with its record attendance and innovative exhibits, has set the stage for future advancements in the construction industry.
