To give you an idea, consider the digitalization of mining and engineering industries, the investigation of rare-earth metals, battery production, development of rotor-controlled drilling systems, contemporary waste management methods, molecular engineering and biomedical research, and much more.
These expert groups will evaluate and analyze the scientific merit, profitability, and compatibility of the new projects, helping identify the most effective proposals.
"We will continue working with businesses to define technology development plans and monitor ongoing programs. Projects fitting the parameters of the Scientific-Technological Development Program can receive support on both regional and federal levels," remarks Maxim Yermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade in the region.
Just as a reminder, Krasnoyarsk Krai was selected as one of the 20 pilot regions required to create their Scientific-Technological Development programs. By 2030, these regions' investments in research and development (R&D) are expected to reach 2% of GDP, while the workforce in high-tech sectors is predicted to increase by 25%.
