RM Sotheby's to Auction Rare BMW M Models in Munich
RM Sotheby's is set to host an extraordinary auction of rare and significant BMW M models in Munich on 18 October 2025. The 'Best of M Collection' promises a stunning array of cars, including one of the rarest, a 2011 BMW M3 CRT with just 168 kilometers on the clock.
The 2011 BMW M3 CRT is expected to be one of the star lots, with an estimate of €170,000 - €220,000. This ultra-rare model, one of only 67 ever made, boasts a powerful 4.4-litre V8 engine and a lightweight carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) body, contributing to its exceptional performance and exclusivity.
Other highlights include a 1975 2002 turbo, a 1970s BMW M1, and a 2003 BMW ALPINA Roadster V8. Modern classics like a 2016 M2, 2023 M4 CSL, and 2016 M4 GTS will also cross the block. An S54-powered M Coupe in Phoenix Yellow is another standout, estimated at €80,000 - €100,000.
