Samsung Releases "KPop Demon Hunters" Theme on Galaxy Phones
Samsung Electronics Co. has launched a theme package for Galaxy smartphones inspired by the popular Netflix animated film, "KPop Demon Hunters." This collaboration is a result of a partnership between Samsung and Netflix, and it's available for free download from the Galaxy Store for a limited time.
The theme package is designed to enhance the user experience for Galaxy smartphone users who are fans of "KPop Demon Hunters." It offers a visually engaging and consistent user experience across Galaxy devices, allowing users to personalize their devices with characters from the animation.
Customizable Features
Users can customize their phone screens and icons with characters from the animation, including Rumi, Zoey, and Jinu. The theme also features a special package spotlighting the in-universe K-pop group Huntrix. In addition, the collection includes eleven special designs inspired by the film's unique visual style. These designs cover various aspects such as the lock screen, home screen, always-on display, phone screen, message screen, and icon packs.
Availability and Access
The theme package is available for free download from the Galaxy Store from August 13 to September 12, 2025. However, availability is geographically limited to Korea, the US, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Türkiye. To access the themes, users must have a Galaxy device running Android 15 or later and have the Netflix app installed. Access requires users to launch the Netflix app through the Galaxy Store promotion page to unlock the themes.

The Netflix original film "KPop Demon Hunters" is produced by Sony Pictures Animation, a US film studio. The film tells the story of a girl group who protect the human world from evil spirits. The success of the film is evident in the recent achievement of "Golden," a track from the film, reaching No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 main singles chart on Monday.
